‘During the summer show season my horses are stabled during the daytime to avoid flies and insect bites and are let out to graze at night', explains Linda, ‘I needed something to keep them amused and entertained during the day. They look forward to coming back to the stable in the mornings now because they know they will find their STABLE-MATE'S™ all ready for them. Their favourites are swedes and white cabbage but I ring the changes by using turnips or large carrots and apples.

STABLE-MATE™ is also ideal for horses undergoing enforced stable rest due to injury and can even be used at shows and events in stationary boxes and lorries to keep horses happy and calm. STABLE-MATE may also be considered as an aid to help prevent cribbing and other equine vices by providing diversion and mental stimulation in unnatural or stressful environments.
